ARE YOU PLUGGED IN??

I was talking to the Lord, this morning.

 I am excited! 

I am excited about the topic he gave me this morning

but, First...

I have a question for you all this morning:

ARE YOUR PLUGGED IN??

Are you sure?

Because, if you have Hangups, you are Not Plugged in;
If you have Doubt, you are Not Plugged in;
If you don't have Faith, you're Not Plugged in;
If you are Not Saved, you are Not Plugged in;
If you are not Obedient, you are Not Plugged in;
You can't be Plugged in if you are in Sin;
How can you be Plugged in, if you do not Study the Word and Pray and, if you are not Faithful how can you be Plugged In??

WHAT SOURCE ARE YOU PLUGGED INTO??

When we Plug into the Word, We Plug into who we "Really are"!!
When we Plug into the Study of God's Word; we then Stop allowing our emotions to get in the way of our Faith.
Stop being so concerned about how you feel and concern yourself with what you should do.
Can you tell yourself, It doesn't matter how I feel?
When you can look in the mirror, Say That and, Mean it! Then you are Connecting, YOU are getting Plugged in because, Self... is out of the way. Feelings do not Move GOD, Faith does! 
Know that , How you deal with your problems remember, it is not what you go through but, How you go through it;

Now you can plug into the POWER OF GOD, which brings me to introduce the topic the Lord, gave me for today, 
"MOUNTAIN MOVERS"  Nope, this was the one but, I Thank the Holy Spirit for this because, you will need to be Plugged in to get it.
When you get Plugged in to Christ;
Get plugged in to the Word;
You can and will be CONNECTED to the Man and Woman of God: Shepherds over your Soul and Connected to their Vision and
Get Plugged into the Power of GOD
You become a Mountain Mover>>>

CONSIDER Yourself like the Ant!!

EVEN AN ANT CAN TEACH YOU A THING OR TWO:
CONSIDER YOURSELF AN ANT

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! (Proverbs 6:6)

I read this verse, a few times in my walk and I have heard people use it in their teaching and it is usually, on laziness which is true and an exceptional point to make yet, when I read the verse "Consider stood out" I ask the Holy spirit in the morning before I write what do you want your people to know?
I looked at the verse again and I wanted to be obedient so I considered the ant. 

Consider means to: look attentively at: think about and be drawn toward (a course of action): regard (someone or something) as having a specified quality: take (something) into account when making an assessment or judgment:

I watched a video about ants and as I watched it I was so drawn by their tenacity, their motivation, their strength they keep moving, with one goal in mind as they prepare. They are preparing, They honor the head the Queen (in our case GOD first) and They are on one Accord as they work towards the same purpose. I tell you I got so much out of that short video. Ants are self- Motivated no one instructs them or has to tell them what to do they make use of every moment; Ants have the ability to bear more than 3 times their weight; Ants have initiative which some of us do not: people who must be told what to do; people who need to be directed do not posses wisdom

So why does God want us to "consider" the ant? I asked, the Holy Spirit this and the Spirit said, "God wants us to consider our Soul." 
See ants are committed to what is going to come.

We prepare when the weather man tells us a major storm, hurricane, flood or tornado is coming: Even when we don't see it, hmm. We rush out for food and supplies, board up our windows, put sand bags out (Seem familiar? Kind of like Ants, huh?) but when the people of God tell us Jesus is coming back we get slothful, we remain stagnated, wishy-washy, we sit back without making any preparation at all and "What happens to people who do not prepare? they take a direct hit and let tell you there will be no state of emergency, no Red Cross and no Fema when Jesus comes back it will be too late to try to work. Joh 9:4  I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 

Every ant has a job. Worker ants may have one job or several jobs.

Consider your gifts right here the bible says, we serve a different purpose under the same spirit that worketh in us. 1 cor 12:4,12,27 There are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit works in all, We are on the same team! Rom 12:4; Eph 4:16. 

Joh 9:4  I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Joh 9:5  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. 

Some workers gather food for the colony. When an ant finds food, it lays down a scent trail for others to follow to the food. Consider the Shepherd right here the Men/Women of God who gather they receive the word of God from Heaven and Feed your soul they sow life into you

Some ants store the food they harvest in special chambers in the nest. Consider right here the Ministers in the church they should be able to train those special chambers (a chamber is also defined as a small group of instruments) See everybody wants to preach but a ministers job is also to  train other leaders so that you can flourish and grow and share with others read Titus

Other workers feed and care for the queen and her developing young. Consider right here the Armour Bearers those who serve under the man/woman of God giving assistance to them in the the development of the vision of there ministry and the vision of the church. Glory to God these workers are slaves to righteousness.

Still others build the chambers and tunnels. They use their saliva to make the dirt walls hard. Consider the choir/the praise team right here because it is through praise and worship that a wall is build up that the enemy cannot penetrate and if the enemy can't get it in yoke can be broken, burdens can be lifted and people can be set free.

Some worker ants are soldiers. They defend the colony and fight off their enemies (other ants or other kinds of insects). Hallelujah, as we consider the Prayer Warriors and the Watchmen right here see Prayer Warriors show up dressed up bearing the whole Armour of God and ready. their job is to cover the church (Pastors, Leaders, Members, communities, etc.; they are posted and pray without ceasing) They fight on their knees praying constantly and consistently. 
Thank You, Holy Spirit!!

Someone, mentioned this to me as a Topic and before I write anything, I empty myself of me and seek the Holy Spirit, I am but a vessel. I can do nothing without God. I am so Blessed and so amazed as the Holy Spirit ministers to me there are 2 places I sit in - in my apartment and I listen and type and my God I have found that when I am released it is hours later, even dark outside and have not had food or water but, sustained Hallelujah! God is so good Y'all when you develop a personal relationship with him and submit your will to his you will see just how awesome, sweet loving, caring, big and real God is my everything and I Love God more than anything, I do not care who knows it.

Let’s Just say..., Hypothetically

You were watching television and your show was suddenly interrupted by Breaking News!
The news reporter states there is evidence that Jesus Christ will be entering our atmosphere on this coming Tuesday. Matt 24:36,37

Are you ready?

“What would you do?”

• Would you go to church on Sunday? 
• Would you get saved? 
• If you were cheating on your spouse would you Stop? 
• Would you apologize to someone you wronged? 
• Would you return something you’ve stolen? 
• Would you Forgive "now"?

“What would you do?”
For those of us already saved… “Are you ready?”

• What would you do that you are not doing now?
• Would you pray more? Would you study the word more?
• Would you start fasting? Would you release that ought against your brother or sister?
• “Would anything you do be enough?” 

Can you get your house in order before Tuesday?




“Some” reading this may be reading with a raised eyebrow or rolling your eyes in disbelief saying, “They’ve been saying that for years…. Longer than I can remember!”


Yes-Yes they have. Do you not think... he’s a lot closer NOW, than when they said it years ago?? What would you tell him? You can’t say you didn’t know? God's word is written on the fleshly tablets of every mans heart.





I'm just saying, Will "we" be ready??

"Are you Giving GOD *your BEST or asking him to Settle for Mediocre?"

ARE YOU GIVING GOD YOUR BEST?

First, let's make sure we have an understanding; as to what our best is and in what and where; do we present our best. What does your Best mean? it means, Surpassing all others in Excellence, Achievement or Quality.

This means our best in our:

Service - being a servant (good steward)

Contribution - in giving Performance - using what you have (your gifts/talents) Representation - how you represent Christ (your attitude, your dress, etc.,)

Colossians 3:22-24 22 Servants, in everything obey those who are your masters on earth, not only with external service, as those who merely please people, but with sincerity of heart because of your fear of the Lord. 23 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve. HOW DO WE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE? It is as simple as this. Have you ever walked into a store, restaurant, theater and come in contact with someone who made you say to yourself he/she must not like their job or came out and asked them, “Are you having a bad day?” Well I have and simply because they didn’t smile, or was rude and because, I know what good service feels like. IT ISN'T OKAY! Some try to get by on the Mediocre, on the Satisfactory some have become Convenient Christians, thinking they are getting by on what is Convenient to them and think this will be acceptable to God. Who is all knowing. Do not boast about anything you do for God, if you are not doing Everything, you can for God. Whatever you - do it wholeheartedly Col 3:23; Eph 6:7. WHEN YOUR HEART IS IN IT AND WHEN IT ISN'T

One of many things, i have learned in this life and by my own experience is that: No matter what you do in school, at home, at church, at work, or in your relationships. Is If your heart isn’t in it, your performance (your effort) will be all lack luster (the bible says, the Salt has lost its savor) I Love working, in the medical field, I have a passion for people and it showed, my uniforms were always clean, I would iron and starch them 2 weeks worth, i was always on time, always present, i would go above beyond when I could, i would study and seek different ways to be an asset, even when i complained, I did not let it change my performance and i didn’t do it for recognition I did it because I love what i do. WHEN CIRCUMSTANCES OR PEOPLE CAUSE YOUR FEELINGS TO CHANGE

There are times, when the dynamics of the relationship change. it is part of life, but no excuse to stop or take it out on those you are serving. Things happen people disappoint (GOD remains Faithful) Remember, how you feel when you are in a new relationship you are excited, women can attest to this. You are always, smiling, cooking, doing romantic things, your significant other doesn’t have to ask you to do anything because, you are on it but; when the dynamic changes ( he forgets to call, comes home to late, doesn’t help with responsibilities, doesn’t keep a job, etc.,) the momentum decreases, then you begin to become less concerned and stop making an effort all together. (You must Forgive and Stay Saved).

This how some of us are in our relationship with God and in the church. The members lose momentum and zeal then, our pastors end up preaching to a bunch of dry stagnated - bones. when you are recruited, to work in church be honest if that is not something, you want to do then do something, you know you will put your heart into.Too many, right there in the body of Christ are trying to get the Full-Time benefits of part-time work or no work at all but preferring to warm the pew. Guess what, lay member you are still commissioned to bear fruit. We all will be judged according to our work.

You may be a Good Person but, Who will Redeem you when you Fall?

There is a lot of Right in the World; There is a lot of Wrong in the World

There are those of us who are in the world but Not of it.  John 15:19

     From Childhood we grow into adults and if not trained, in the way that we should go we become influenced by the world;  some have been trained yet, despite the tools that have been given them they have been seduced by the pleasures of this world. You may consider yourself a good person (a Morally Good person) Yet, you - even you will find yourself beginning to change and  do things outside of your normal character. Because, you are of the world, you are still subject to taking on the attributes of this world. Regardless, of how "Morally Good" You think you are. You are not immune from its devices!

AND WHO WILL REDEEM YOU WHEN YOU FALL?

The enemy will allow you to think you are "Good" because, he knows, "Morally Good won't get you to Heaven. 

2 Corinthians 10:18 (AMP)

 For it is NOT he who commends and praises himself who is approved [by God], but it is the one whom the Lord commends and praises.

if you have not given your life to Christ you are still his (The enemy's) and therefore, are of No threat to his (The enemy's) kingdom. The world loves its own.

 If you are Not of the world the world would hate you because it hates Him (Jesus and the father who sent him: read John 15:18-27) Again, You are not a threat.

When you find yourself Contributing to the negative aspects of this world rather than the Just, Pure, Honest, Upright and you find yourself not being a productive member of society you need to Change your life - You got Life mixed up - The enemy's got you twisted- You need to get Saved

THERE IS NO SALVATION APART FROM CHRIST!  

Acts 4:12 (AMP)

12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].”

Romans 10:9 (KJV)

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

SEPARATION! - GRACE! - FORGIVENESS!

SEPARATION

You are NOT Alone. We All have Sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23

Sin Separates us from God Sin keeps us from hearing the voice of God; Sin keeps us from getting to know God because Satan has blinded, deceived and manipulated us from the Truth. Those that you see who are saved and living for God we were all there.
Have you ever kept information from someone because, you did not want them to know the Truth? Well this is what the Enemy does and he uses others to deceive and manipulate you from the Truth. He will go all out to Keep you from that truth He will get that man or woman you are interested so interested to keep you distracted, He will keep you stuck at work on Sundays, He will send people who have influence in your life to talk you out of accepting Christ, etc.,
Just like he did Eve in the garden lying, manipulating the truth.  He's a slick snake. He is but, you do not have to stay in that Bondage.
Isaiah 59:1,2 
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short That it cannot save, Nor His ear so [a]impaired
That it cannot hear. 2 But your wickedness has separated you from your God,
And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

Read 1 Peter 5:10

GRACE

Nothing can compare to God's Love and un-merited Favor, it isn't earned it is Given to the undeserving That is You and me. 
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God wants to Restore us back to himself. God loves "You". 
For God so Loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life John 3:16 
So then what is Grace? Grace is,… You didn't choose him, he chose you. Grace is Favor think of it like this…
 When we become Separated from God we become lost: We have lost are way. 
God says, I am going to do you a Favor (Grace) I am going to help you find your way back to Me (That is Divine assistance) *Remember, You left him he didn't leave You and, now the One who you left- is helping you find your way back to Him.. so that He can restore "you. Glory to God. now that is un-merited favor. That is Grace. The enabling ability to do and receive; what we do not deserve and cannot earn. (Thank you, Holy Spirit, that blessed me right there: I had to praise him) Now, You can reject Grace but beware that in doing so you bring damnation to yourself Grace is a Gift of God and if you do you must live with the consequence of your choice.
How do you receive the Gift of Grace? 
If you Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and Believe in your Heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be Saved Romans 10:9

FORGIVENESS

 

God is nothing like man God does not let things fester, God doesn't throw our past sins back up in our face or keep beating us down with things we use to do. That is not the kind of God we serve. Man does that and, we do not serve man we Serve GOD.
Romans 8:1,2 says, 
Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 

 God will Forgive All your sins and remember
them no more Jeremiah 31:34 We serve a Merciful God. Psalms 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. 
God takes no pleasure in seeing people go to hell he is a Loving and Caring God. Because , he is loving and caring we have Free Will and he will not go against our Will…God doesn't force Salvation upon us, We must make that conscious decision.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. ... 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 

DON'T CHANGE THE SETTING!!

People of God, Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

When I got on that bike this morning, the Holy Spirit gave me a Revelation. I Pray that you grasp a hold of this Revelation that it will get into your Spirit and you not be the same but even better.

When I sat down, I could of put the setting on anything, I wanted but I put the setting on Random..

Random def. means without method or conscious decision - so for right now let's say, I submitted my will to the bike.

Now, what I was able to see on that bike that we are un-able to see in our Christian walk is what lies ahead of us. If you take a look at the picture I could see where it was going to be Easy, I could see where it was going to Challenge me a little; I could see where it was really going to test my Strength and Endurance which means I would really have to put in some work to reach my end.

but, I couldn't see that until, I started peddling, I had to start moving first. (You getting this?) What this particular bike did not tell me was how long I would have to endure each level, so when I saw an even steeper hill I didn't know how long I would be there and I felt my legs burning but, my job was to keep going.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

The Holy Spirit revealed to me, That "This is when the People of God, want to Change the Setting and They want to manipulate Gods standard to accommodate their Flesh, we decide that because of a little pain they succumb to the interference of the enemy. Brothers and Sisters when you choose to stay on Levels 1, 2, and 3 you stagnate your Walk as well as your growth and if you wonder why some saints are in the same condition they were umpteen years ago this is one of the reasons. Some stop altogether, Some leave the church because they don't want to put in the work or think someone is going to do it for them... They Mooch off of the backs of whoever feels sympathy for them and tries to help.

Gal 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

See, It's not about us, it about the Kingdom. When we make that conscious decision to walk in his will and not ours we do so without knowing what is going to happen next GOD knows this and this is why he tells us to put our Trust in him "We" may not know what is coming next - We do not know what the Outcome is going to be but he does. Hallelujah!! See WE (You) We don't set the Standard God does. DON'T CHANGE THE SETTING...GO FORWARD EVEN IF IT GETS UNCOMFORTABLE.

Col 1:11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

Do Not let your Ego, Interfere with your Humility!

Remember, God's word does not return void.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Do not let your Ego interfere with your Humility                                                                        Ministers, Missionaries, Deacons , Prayer Warriors, Lay members etc.,                                                         As to think; that whenever God gives you a word- it is for someone else. Allow the word to stop at Home, to Speak to you before it goes out, it may very well be for you. You may need it as well as the individual or people you are ministering to. You shouldn't Speak something into someone's life you are not Living or Willing to apply it to yourself. No one is void of God's correction.

                               

My God is so Awesome, that he will Speak THROUGH You, to Speak TO "You."

You can Run but, You Can't Hide!!

Many of us can probably say, we have been there, In one form or another.  Like, Moses we may have said, I can't speak; Like, Jeremiah who said, I am too young I can't speak but, How many of us are out Like, Jonah? Running. Uh, uh no not me, Lord!

READING: The Book of Jonah

Has God ever asked, you to do something, speak to someone, encourage someone and you felt like nah, that's just me? Asked, you to say something in Church? You say, They won't believe me,  I am scared to speak in front of people. I can't do that. Has anyone ever told you - you are called into the ministry/ have a calling on your life. Did you stop going to church altogether. You are not alone many of us have struggled with dis-obedience from  God's calling or simply telling us to speak to someone, give a certain offering, pray for someone or go somewhere.

I will say this… "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!"

God does not take no for an answer, neither is there an excuse to justify our saying , no. Jonah by running from God stepped out of the will of God and out of fellowship with God, due to his disobedience. 

 I remember, the first time God told me to do something publicly, I was in my late 20's. I was shaking in my boots, "Oh, Lawd" and it was a big church not mega but big. I looked around at all those people and the first thing the devil said, in my ear was they are not going to believe you but he didn't have to say, anything I was just scared…So, I sat there. That thing, and I still remember word for word it stuck with me day after day, week after week; I could not rest, Uh I could not shake it, uh. I saw my  Pastor at the time outside watering the grass at the church and I told myself "okay, I'm going to do it." I walked, over to him and told him what the Lord, told me to say. He said, "I receive it!" I walked down the street so proud of myself , Happy, that I obeyed the Lord; I could have skipped home and at that very moment the Lord said, that is Not, how I told you to do it. My whole countenance fell and so did my head. That was the worse feeling to have disappointed God.

I Thank God, for his mercy and his Grace for he is a God of second chances. He truly knows your heart just do not use, misuse or abuse his Grace. Again, he knows your heart. The Lord grows and stretches us outside of our comfort zone. He is full aware of where we are when, we feel incapable, un-worthy, nervous, anxious, and scared to do those things he has called  us to do.

But, He knows the plans he has for us    . Regardless, of how we feel, we MUST be OBEDIENT! Feelings do not move God but, Faith does! Jonah, Ran from God he went through all that and still didn't get away from what God purposed for him. Running did not void him of doing what God said, to do. "What God has for you is for you!

 

YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!

 Acknowledge, your faults ask God, to forgive you for being dis-obedient. Get it right from here on and be OBEDIENT is better than Sacrifice. What you feel Incapable or Disabled to do… God, has already, Enabled You!

Don't be a STUMBLING BLOCK!!

Don’t be a Stumbling block

in the path of your brothers and sisters in Christ

This is one of a few topics, I am passionate about not only because, of my own experiences in churches but, I remember being able to recognize at a young age people whose lives did not match their walk not in the sense of passing judgement but from the things I saw them do outside of church.

 Mark 9:38-50; Deut 6:1-9; Mark 9:38-50

A stumbling block is anything that causes a person to fall away from the truth.

 A stumbling block is a trap that catches an unsuspecting person.  A stumbling block is anything that contributes to a brother or a sister going astray, falling into sin, and/or losing sight of their eternal hope in Christ. Now that we know what a Stumbling Block is let me identify a few things that can cause brothers and sister to stumble and/ or fall. There are quite a few other things. started.

• Scandal within the church!
• A church that is not on one accord!
• A believer who is lukewarm not living the life!
• You are over -heard Passing judgement on another!  (Warping someone’s perception of another member by gossiping or backbiting.)
• No follow-up! (Churches that do not have a system-set up to follow-up with visitors and new members after they have joined, this is actually, the responsibility of all) Why should they come back or stay with a church that doesn’t even acknowledge that they are there.
• The old cold shoulder! (They spoke or reached out to hug you, shake your hand and you did not acknowledge them)

Gal 5:7-8,10; Is 50:4; 1 Pe 4:11; Prov 18:21; James 3:6

As leaders, as well as members within the body; we need to be sensitive to our how own choices, conduct and behaviors affect those around us. Someone is always watching whether you know it or not. A Misrepresentation of your belief, of God’s word can alter or tear down; God’s work in a fellow believer (New or Old). The bible tells us be careful for nothing (Phil 4:6-8); Be wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove (Matt 10:16)

If a brother or sister is drawn to you…They were likely drawn to the words of your testimony or something they admired or something about you they identified with. Especially, new babes or new members. The way you behave after church, outside of church can greatly affect someone who is new. Specifically, newborn babes. If they see Nothing different in you from what they see in the world.

• It can cause them to question their decision to be saved
• It can cause them to leave the Church! (Woe unto you!)

Be careful how you flaunt your freedom outside of the church. I mentioned, in my previous topic (Thank you, Jesus) If you are saved at home, be saved at work, at school, at the restaurant and in other people’s homes. (Deut 6:1-9)

Yes, indeed you may be grown but, why go to Hell in a Volkswagen when you can go in a Cadillac? (Secret sins)

Someone see’s you gyrating or, see you in public hugged up with someone and they know you are single…What are you telling them? That it is okay…to fornicate? (That may be how it is perceived), Is your salvation limited to the church?

The brother or sister you do not see anymore. The new member who came a few Sunday and hasn’t been seen since. “How do you know it wasn’t because of you??”

Men and Women of God, I exhort you to take this very seriously, “Souls at stake” Do not allow the enemy to you as a puppet to interfere with the building of God’s Kingdom. There are consequences to our actions remember, that. Whether received or nay, the Word of God does not return void! He who hath an ear let him Hear!!!

When you know Better, you what…You should Do Better!
